The Batho Movement is a community-driven political and social movement founded in Bethlehem, Free State, South Africa. Our movement was established with the vision of empowering ordinary people, especially the youth, through leadership, unity, development, and active participation in building a better future.

The word “Batho” means “People”, and our mission is centered on putting people first. We believe that every community deserves access to opportunities, quality services, economic growth, and a voice in decisions that affect their daily lives.
